WebAug 31, 2010 · I allowed the "tail" (bottom) of the zipper to hang approx. 1/2" to 1" (1.25 cm to 2.5 cm) below the notch, behind the permanent garment seam. Then I went back and sewed the zipper tape to the seam allowance of that permanent seam. No more dreaded bump at the end of the Invis. Zip. Hooray!
