Even shrimp will work. Have fun, it should be a nice weekend, especially if you do not have to go thru the tunnels.

I've used in the surf and caught kingfish and spot well, I've used in the bay for croaker and spot and even used it for catfish in freshwater when I had nothing else. Works great from what I can tell.

There isn't much that doesn't work for perch as long as it can fit in their mouths. Fishbites work better in warm water (above 70).
